Today is my last day in Athens! It was a quick trip to Greece, arriving on Sunday and leaving on Tuesday morning for Mykonos. We had a crazy last 48 hours but we saw a ton of stuff and met a few awesome people!

On Sunday night we headed straight for the Acropolis museum. It was pretty cool to see all of the artifacts that have fallen off of the parthenon over the years and all of the Greek God stuff. When they created the museum just a few years ago, as they were excavating, they discovered an ancient city. So they put glass as some of the floor in the museum so that you can see all the way down to the ground! Like this!

Now on Monday, we also has a packed day! We actually went and saw the Acropolis site and walked all the way up to the top to see the amazing sights and the Parthenon. It is under reconstruction which was too bad, but it was still an amazing site to see and wonder how the ever made it. The views from the top were fantastic!

My favorite thing we saw in Athens to be honest was the Olympic Stadium. They held the first ever olympics here in 1896. We got to run on the track, do the long jump, stand on the podium in the 1st place spot and even run though the tunnel where the athletes would come from! We climbed all 108 steps to the top of the stadium to get a view from up there. It was such an amazing thing to see how people from all over the world could feel so connected to one place.

I have a few hundred other pictures and honestly so much more to say about this amazing trip so far, but stay tuned and I'll keep you updated as I finish the last leg of our trip!
